How to Use the Group Testing Calculator

fms group testing y balance test

I want to talk to you about the Group Testing Calculator and how you can use it.  You can use it any time you are going to do testing of a group. That could be a pre- participation physical of a sports team or performance testing of a group or even in industry or the military we've used it a lot.  And basically what it's going to do is you can put in the different parameters you have -- the number of testers, the amount of time, the type of tests that you want to do. And you can toggle each one of those things so that you can come to your ideal.  So if you only have an hour, but you want to do the Functional Movement Screen, Y Balance test with 50 people, it'll tell you exactly how many testers you need.  Or if you have this many testers, it can tell you how long that's going to take.  And you can also indicate the level of the person's testing experience, whether they're novice, intermediate or expert.  Now, I would reserve that expert for that person that you know can click through things really, really fast because they've done hundreds of tests.  So the Group Testing Calculator is your estimator to know exactly how to be successful with your group testing. That way you have all the resources in place, no surprises.  You can tell you exactly how many people you can test in a certain amount of time on what tests.  I hope you find it useful.  Don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.
